NotiScore Privacy Policy

Information We Collect

You do not need an account to use NotiScore, and we never ask for your name, email address, or payment details. We collect two things:

Usage data, through Google Analytics. This records which pages you visit, how long you stay, and the kind of device and browser you use, along with an approximate location worked out from your internet address. Google Analytics stores a randomly generated ID in a cookie on your device so it can tell repeat visits apart. That ID is not linked to your name, but it is not completely anonymous either: it is a recognisable identifier, which is why we describe it here rather than calling it anonymous.

Feedback you choose to send. If you tap a rating or report a problem, we record what you chose, the page you were on, your screen size, the browser you used, and the time. We do not store your internet address; it is used only for a moment, in memory, to stop the same device sending hundreds of entries at once.

How We Use Your Data

The data we collect is used only to improve app performance, fix bugs, decide what to work on next, and enhance your overall user experience. We do not use it to build advertising profiles or to target you with ads.

Data Sharing and Security

We do not sell or rent your data, and we do not give it to advertisers. We do share it with the companies that run parts of NotiScore for us: Google Analytics receives the usage data described above, and Google Cloud and Firebase host the app and store the feedback. Google is an advertising company, and its use of the data it collects is governed by its own privacy policy. Our football data comes from Sportmonks, which receives nothing about you. We take reasonable measures to protect the information we collect from unauthorized access or disclosure.

Cookies and Local Storage

Google Analytics sets two cookies on your device, named _ga and _ga_TVX5VLETGJ. They hold the random ID described above and last up to two years unless you clear them. You can remove them at any time in your browser settings, block cookies for this site, or install Google’s Analytics opt-out add-on.

If you pin a match or a player, that pin is saved in your own browser’s local storage so it survives a refresh. It stays on your device, is never sent to us, and is discarded after twelve hours. Clearing your browser data removes it.

Data Transfer and International Users

As NotiScore operates internationally, data collected may be transferred and processed in countries outside your country of residence, including Colombia and the United States. We take appropriate measures to protect your data in accordance with applicable laws.

Children’s Privacy

NotiScore is not intended for children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we discover that we have collected personal data from a child without parental consent, we will delete it promptly.

Data Retention

Usage data is held by Google Analytics under the retention period set in that service. Feedback entries are kept while they are still useful for fixing problems and deciding what to build. Pins live only on your own device, for twelve hours.

Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data, as well as to object to or restrict certain data processing activities. To exercise these rights, please contact us at notiscores@gmail.com

Because we hold no name, email address, or internet address, we usually cannot tell which records belong to you, and so may be unable to find or delete them on request. The most direct way to remove what is held about you is to clear this site’s cookies and local storage in your browser, which deletes the analytics ID on your device and stops it being reused.

Security Practices

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Continued use of NotiScore after updates means you accept the revised policy.
